I have recently changed from another headset, which also had the same issue using Discord. This is also heard from the other users in the server when I'm speaking normally, which leads to much confusion as I can hear the other users fine. for example "Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" or "Moooooooooooooooooo" what I get returned cuts out cyclically per couple of seconds, I can only really describe it as like a square wave, it's either on or off, not crazy distortion. During the mic testing in the voice and video settings, if I hold a continuous sound. If anyone has any information on as to why this is happening and a fix for it that would be great as it does almost entirely ruin my music listening experience via my laptop.Using Steel series Arctic 1 Wireless headset. I've seen other posts similar to this in the past, but none that seem to apply to my case of the issue being solely music related. right after the issue has happened, and the headset works perfectly. I've also tested that it does indeed only happen with music related scenarios by watching videos or playing games etc. That alone to me seems to indicate it's more than likely not an issue with the headset connection itself, as the issue isn't consistent and only happens in very particular scenarios. The issue also only ever happens while listening to music on Youtube or Spotify, and never happens while watching any other type of Youtube videos, while playing games, or while in Discord calls. I also don't get any form of alerts or errors when it happens. I don't get any notification sound that the USB has been removed so that's not the issue. Whenever I am listening to music on Spotify or on Youtube (more frequently with Spotify), the audio keeps cutting out making a popping noise and switching back to my laptop's default speakers, before cutting back to the headphones. I've had my Kraken Kitty headset for about a year and a half now and this issue is one I've noticed a lot especially in the last six months or so.
